TravelPod

I recently found this great site called TravelPod (http://www.travelpod.com) that has hundreds of video podcasts and blogs of adventure trips around the world. Check it out and let me know what your favorite trip was. Get extra points for creating a TravelPod, posting it, and linking it to the Walker Outdoors group.

I liked the exploration of Mozambique. The people started at the coast and worked their way inland. They met the indiginous people, and saw amazing wildlife and scenery.

I read a travel pod about a guy who went sky diving in new zeland. It sounded like alot of fun. Travel Pod is a great place to figure out what you would like to do, and where you would like to do it.

There was one blog from a guy who did 100 days of backpacking across Europe. I went to Europe when I was 2, but I don't remember it, so I've always wanted to go back.

My favorite travelpod was this guy named Jon Clark who took this 6 month trip to Africa and back.
The first month he will visit Ethiopia .Then he will head north to Lake Tana, Blue Nile Falls, Lalibella, and the Simien Mountains. Maybe Aksum and the Bale Mountains. The next month he plans to fly to Uganda and stay there for another month. While in Uganda he plans to hike Ruwenzori Mountain for 5 days.

He then he plans to meet his girlfriend in the Mozambique island and Victoria Falls. The final month he will spend in South Africa and visit the big cities and fly back to the United States.
